Our Senior Management

The newly founded Adler Group is led by the following senior management team with Maximilian Rienecker and Thierry Beaudemoulin as Co-CEOs. They look forward to complementing each other’s skills and experience in the real estate market and to leading our motivated staff.

Maximilian Rienecker ,

Maximilian Rienecker

Maximilian Rienecker is one of the former Co-CEOs of Adler Real Estate. Originally from Hamburg, Mr. Rienecker has worked in many places around the globe in finance, including assignments with ING Investment Management in Hong Kong and other parts of Europe.
Thierry Beaudemoulin,

Thierry Beaudemoulin

Thierry Beaudemoulin worked for real estate companies in France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain. In Germany, he was CEO of Covivio Germany and CEO of ADO before merging ADO with Adler Real Estate. Mr. Beaudemoulin has been working in real estate for more than twenty years.

Dr. Peter Maser (Chairman)

Dr. Peter Maser (Chairman),

Dr. Peter Maser is an accredited advocate in Germany and studied and obtained his doctorate at the universities of Tübingen and Geneva. From 1989 to 1995 he held various positions at audit firms and trust agencies and at Mediagroup Ebner. As of 1992, Dr. Maser practices as an attorney-at-law and was a partner in a well-known law firm in Freiburg im Breisgau, before moving to what is now Deloitte Legal Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH as partner and regional manager in 2003. Mr. Maser is a board member and Chairman of the Adler Group S.A. board of directors as of December 2019. Some current notable directorships and management positions include Volksbank Stuttgart eG (Vice Chairman of the supervisory board), BF.direkt AG (Chairman of the supervisory board) and EURAM Bank AG (Chairman of the supervisory board).

Thierry Beaudemoulin

Thierry Beaudemoulin graduated from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris, France in 1993 and obtained a master’s degree in real estate and urban planning from the same institution in 1995. From 1996 to 1998, Mr. Beaudemoulin was special advisor to the chief executive officer of Batigere. Between 1998 and 2000, he was head of property management at Foncia and held positions as asset manager and managing director France at ING REIM (Europe) between 2000 and 2004. From 2004 to 2006, Mr. Beaudemoulin was managing director for the Paris region at Batigere. Between 2006 and October 2019 he was chief executive officer at Covivio Germany and member of the executive board at Covivio.

Maximilian Rienecker

Maximilian Rienecker, born in 1985 in Hamburg, Master of Science in Management with honours from the University of Nottingham, took over the position of Co-CEO on April 9, 2020. Mr. Rienecker was Co-CEO of Adler Real Estate AG since December 2017.
After successful stages in Sales & Marketing at ING Investment Management and in Corporate Strategy and M&A at SBM Offshore, Maximilian Rienecker can look back on more than six years of experience in the real estate sector.

Arzu Akkemik

Arzu Akkemik holds a Master of Science degree in international finance and accounting from the London School of Economics in London, United Kingdom. Ms. Akkemik started her career as an analyst at Barings Securities in London in 1993. From 1994 to 2013, Ms. Akkemik worked in the practice areas of corporate finance, global equities and fund management in London. In 2013, she founded Cornucopia Advisors Limited and Cornucopia Asset Management Limited. Throughout her career, she has also been advising governments and sovereign wealth funds. Ms. Akkemik is a board member of the Adler Group S.A. board of directors as of December 2019.

Dr. Michael Bütter

Dr. Michael Bütter is a business economist, holds a doctorate in law and is qualified to practice law in Germany. He holds a Master of Studies from the University of Oxford, England, and a doctorate degree from the University of Hamburg, Germany. Between 2001 and 2008, he worked as a lawyer at various law firms, including as a partner at Hogan Lovells LLP from 2005 to 2008. Between 2008 and 2013, he was member of the executive committee, general counsel and chief compliance officer at Deutsche Annington SE (now Vonovia SE). From 2015 to 2018, he was a member of the executive committee of Scout24 AG and CEO of Immobilien Scout GmbH. Between 2016 and 2019, Dr. Bütter was a member of the advisory board and CEO of Corestate Capital S.A. Mr. Bütter is a board member of the Adler Group S.A. (formerly ADO Properties S.A.) board of directors as of June 2015. Currently he serves as CEO and Chairman of the management board of Union Investment Real Estate GmbH. Other current notable directorships and management positions include Union Investment Real Estate Austria AG (deputy chairman of the supervisory board), RCIS Germany (member of the management board) and Bots4You GmbH (member of the advisory board and shareholder).


Thomas Zinnöcker

Thomas Zinnöcker studied business administration and earned the degree of a Diplom-Kaufmann at the University of Cologne in 1985. He held various managing positions at Krantz TKT GmbH, Deutsche Telekom Immobilien und Service GmbH, GSW Immobilien AG, Gagfah S.A., Vonovia SE and ista International GmbH. From 2014 to 2020 he was chairman of the board of the Institute for Corporate Governance in the German Real Estate Industry. Since 2006, Mr. Zinnöcker is a member of the board of the ZIA German Property Federation (Immobilienverband ZIA) and since 2013, Mr. Zinnöcker is a member of the board of trustees of Familienstiftung Becker & Kries and chairman of the board as of 2019. Mr. Zinnöcker is a board member of the Adler Group S.A. board of directors as of October 2020.

Claus Jørgensen

Claus Jørgensen holds an MBA in finance and marketing, gained extensive capital markets experience through his years of employment with major international banks in the areas of credit trading as well as capital market transactions and acquisitions. He was previously head of High Yield and Strategy at Fairwater Capital LLP, London, developing real estate investment strategies and currently works as Head of EMEA Credit Trading at Mizuho International Plc. Currently, a member of the supervisory board of ADLER Real Estate AG and of the board of directors of Brack Capital Properties N.V., Amsterdam/Netherlands, Mr. Jørgensen is a board member of the Adler Group S.A. board of directors as of October 2020.

Thilo Schmid

Thilo Schmid held several positions in the software industry including at KHK-Software, in Frankfurt and Basel and was CTO at Aparis Software GmbH. After working as a real estate project controller at the Tivona Group, Basel, he joint Wecken & Cie., a Swiss family office, as investment manager in 2008, where he is responsible for venture capital and real estate investments. Mr. Schmid is a board member of the Adler Group S.A. board of directors as of October 2020. Other current notable directorships include ADLER Real Estate Aktiengesellschaft (vice chairman of the supervisory board), DTH Sárl (member of the board of directors), Cynora GmbH (member of the advisory board) and Yeditepe Marina Yatirim Turizm Insaat A.S. (member of the board of directors).
